Bandai Namco, along with developers Brownies and Marvelous, have announced that Doraemon Story of Seasons is now available on PlayStation 4, along with a free update.

Doraemon Story of Seasons features the popular anime robot cat Doraemon in a mash-up with the Story of Seasons farm sim series. Players take on the roll of Nobita Nobi as they enjoy the Story of Seasons gameplay, including expanding their farm, growing crops, and hunting for bugs.

The nearby town is filled with other familiar faces from the Doraemon series. Interacting and befriending townsfolk is a major part of the game, and Doraemon can provide his helpful futuristic gadgets.

“Doraemon has always taken Noby and friends on grand adventures and we hope PlayStation 4 players will join the fun,” said Abelina Villegas, Associate Brand Manager, Bandai Namco. “The game’s genuinely heart-warming moments and fun activities, from building a town to growing crops, raising horses and cattle, offer lots of relaxing and meaningful work for players to do as they build the farm of their dreams.”

The free update adds new furniture, secret gadgets, and more quality of life improvements.

Doraemon Story of Seasons released last year on PC (Steam) and Switch. It’s available now on PlayStation 4. It’s rated E for Everyone.
