Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX is now available on Nintendo Switch in physical retail and digital eShop, for $59.99.

Rescue Team DX is an enhanced remake of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team (Game Boy Advance) and Blue Rescue Team (Nintendo DS), both released in 2006. Unlike the core Pokémon series, this spinoff series let you play as an actual pokémon from 16 different choices (or at least a human who’s been turned into one).

As part of the rescue team, you’ll delve into randomly generated dungeons to defeat rogue pokémon while rescuing others. You’ll also be able to recruit other pokémon into your party. Over 400 pokémon can be found, including Mega Evolved pokémon like Charizard and Gengar.

This new enhanced remake includes updated visuals to create a storybook-like world, as well as Auto mode in dungeons and other new additions. Rescue requests can also be sent and received online to receive extra rewards.

Online functionality requires a Nintendo Switch Online membership.

“Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX is a different type of Pokémon adventure that allows fans to actually become a Pokémon and interact with some of their favorite characters in a special way,” said Nick Chavez, Nintendo of America. “This game can be enjoyed by Pokémon fans of all ages, with tons of enemy Pokémon to battle and treasures to discover.”

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX is rated E for Everyone.
