Over-the-top action series Devil May Cry hasn’t had a main entry in a decade. Series director Hideaka Itsuno proudly took the stage during the Xbox E3 2018 conference to announce Devil May Cry 5. Devil May Cry 5 is due Spring 2019 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

Several years have passed but the demons have returned, beginning with a demon tree spourting up in Red Grave City. New protagonist Nero battles the demon incursion with the help of his tech-savvy partner Nico and his powerful demon arm.

Devil May Cry 5 runs on Capcom’s RE Engine. It features three playable characters, each with different play styles as you battle within a city overrun by demons.

A Devil May Cry HD Collection was recently released (re-released, actually) earlier this year for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It includes the first three Devil May Cry games.

Devil May Cry 5 is due out Spring 2019, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It has not yet been rated by the ESRB.
