Rockit Gaming Productions, the company to pioneer the industry niche of video game music label, is welcoming PAX South attendees to their panel/couch party on the 28th. The event will be hosted by Rockit’s CEO Russell McKamey (AKA Rockit), COO Vinnie Noose, and Rockit Gaming artist Dr. G. Special guests will include JT Machinima and Operation Supply Drop’s CEO Glenn Banton. Rockit promises an exciting announcement in store for those who attend.
Rockit Gaming’s company vision is to produce music that takes inspiration from video games. They work with popular streaming services like Spotify and Pandora and have staff with ties to the entertainment industry. The team and their artists also prioritize having a good rapport with their fans and make an effort to listen to their feedback. Once a week, Rockit holds a livestream event called “Couch Party” on their YouTube channel. Each Couch Party is a chance for viewers to chat with the Rockit team in real time and sometimes even get a peek at the recording process.
For those interested in checking it out, the meetup will be held at 12:30pm at the Falcon Theater in the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center. Keep checking back in with us here to stay up to date on all things PAX South.
