As video games get more and more popular, we’re seeing a lot more recognition in the broader media. Case in point: there will be a new awards show focused directly on kids and games, produced by DreamWorks TV.

According to Variety, the new Kids’ Game Awards will be ” an interactive, all-digital show that will let viewers vote on their favorite video games.” Other shows like the Kids’ Choice Awards have a similar format of distributing awards based on voting results of kids. Also like those other shows, the Kids’ Game Awards will include appearances from a number celebrities kids will know and love.

The new show is being hosted Geoff Keighly. Keighley has been a public figure in the game industry for a long time. He most recently launched the Video Game Awards, which started in 2014. Before launching this show he worked on a number of shows for the now-defunct channel G4. He’s also long been a freelance writer and spokesperson for the industry.

The Kids’ Game Awards will have some oversight by an advisory committee that includes Activision, Nintendo and other large game companies. The show is expected to make its debut in October.
