New York City has been invaded by toys of all kinds this week. A number of game-related toys have come to the surface beside the Barbie Dolls and Cabbage Patch Kids. Some of the game-related toys that are coming this year include big franchises like Destiny, Halo, God of War, Uncharted, and LittleBigPlanet, but there could be more.

Lots of interviews and coverage is taking place as you may imagine. And in one of these interviews, a major toy company executive mentioned Crash Bandicoot. Whether or not he actually knows for sure what Sony’s plans are is pure speculation at this point. Here’s the quote:

“We’ve got a lot of stuff going on with Sony,” Randy Falk, director of development for toy and collectible maker NEKA said in an interview with PixelDan. Falk was referencing the God of War, Uncharted and LittleBigPlanet franchises. Then offhand, he mentions “Looking at some of their other titles, I see that they’re bringing Crash Bandicoot back …”
