Just Dance and its successors are rhythm games that get players up and moving to popular songs. The idea is to mimic the moves of the figure on screen.

Some people misheard the lyrics to a Nicki Minaj song, “Starships,” in an advertisement for Just Dance 2014, and mistakenly thought Minaj was saying a racial slur. This stirred up some controversy, understandably, but was only a misconception on the part of listeners.
