Battlefield 4, a 21st century warfare FPS, was released earlier today. Critics have called its large-scale multiplayer mode fantastic—64 individuals can play on one battlefield, at least on PC versions. It has also been praised for its use of strategy and tactics, especially from a first-person perspective. The graphics are  impressive. Players must contend with extreme weather and changing landscapes. Critics had less positive things to say about the single-player campaign, however, which has been described as uninspired.
