Wii Sports Resort

Wii Sports Resort follows in the footsteps of Wii Sports, allowing players to simulate 13 different sports. Players are vacationing at a beach resort on Wuhu Island, so the sports featured in the game are a combination of aquatic, land, and sky sports and include swordplay, wake-boarding, Frisbee, archery, basketball, table tennis, golf, bowling, power cruising, canoeing, cycling, parachuting, and piloting. For each sport, players simulate movements and actions associated with the sport, such as swinging an imagery paddle for table tennis.

A major difference between Wii Sports Resort and its predecessor is that Wii Sports Resort utilizes the Wii MotionPlus. This greatly improves the motion tracking capabilities of the game, allowing players to perform more complicated actions.

The game autosaves after every game or match.

Wii Sports Resort has multiple difficulty settings, and for some of the sports, players can enable "Automatic Control," which means that players only have to move their arms to play.
