Unravel

In the beginning of Unravel, players are introduced by an elderly woman who lives in a house full of photographs. We get the impression that the people in the pictures are her family from whom she has somehow been separated. As the woman moves around her home, she knocks our protagonist, Yarny, loose from a basket of yarn. Yarny explores the house by using their yarn to swing and create bridges, and they begin to put these skills to use as they travel into one of the photographs. Each of the game's ten levels is represented by a photo, and as a result Yarny traverses several places and moments in the elderly woman's memory.

The game saves progress at checkpoints.

The game's puzzles aren't too difficult overall, though there's still a chance that players will run into some frustration.
