Trine 2

Trine 2 continues the story of a knight, wizard, and a thief, who must rescue a fantasy kingdom from evil at the behest of the crown princess Rosabel. Goblins have invaded the kingdom, and the heroes must battle them and slay the Goblin King at a dilapidated castle. Eventually, the three heroes learn that the goblins were able to conquer the kingdom because of the inadvertent consequences of Rosabel's actions. Players discover through various collectibles that Rosabel has a sister, Isabel, who was always favored over Rosabel and chosen as queen. Jealous, Rosabel had her put into an enchanted sleep in a tree, but this weakened the kingdom, allowing the goblins to attack.

The heroes confront Rosabel and defeat her in battle, after which Isabel awakens. She rushes over to Rosabel, though it is unclear whether or not she has survived. After thanking the heroes, the Trine teleports them back to their starting point in the forest and they return home.

Trine 2 isn't considered too challenging. When players die, they respawn at checkpoints and any enemies they killed before dying remain dead. Furthermore, the game offers different difficulty settings.

Trine 2 has online co-op support, but players can also choose local co-op if they'd rather not play online.
