The Escapists

In The Escapists, players take on the role of a prison inmate who is perpetually attempting to break out from increasingly complex compounds. The game has elements of an RPG, allowing players to level up their inmate and improve his/her skills and abilities. Among the ordinary activities of a prison inmate, which includes exercising, reading, and crafting and bartering items, players will guide their playable character as he/she plans and executes escapes. Players can take several different approaches in this aspect of the game, and a successful breakout may require a decent amount of strategizing and some trial-and-error.

The game saves every time players go to sleep in their beds.

The game's controls aren't too tricky to handle, but solving the puzzles takes some time and patience.
