Story & Themes
SimCity lacks a storyline, instead relying on strategic gameplay to engross the player. The 2013 release of SimCity follows the same formula as its predecessors, allowing players to construct cities and maintain their development. The city's success depends upon the health and happiness of its residents, and this can be affected by any number of factors. Cities can specialize on a certain industry, giving them a more realistic feel. Player choice is key in SimCity, and those who enjoy in-game designing will relish the freedom and challenge of running a flourishing city.
