Story & Themes
Sesame Street: Once Upon a Monster magically transports kids into a storybook with Elmo and Cookie Monster. Once there, the characters discover that in each chapter a different monster has a problem that they need help with. Seamus, for instance, is trying to put on a play in chapter three but is too shy to ask his friends for help. The gang pitches in to set up the show, and by the end Seamus feels much more confident and appreciates the value of his friends.
Each chapter features several minigames that players will complete in order to help the monster in need. The minigames can be played by a single person, but they work just as well for a group of two. The chapters reinforce positive values such as the importance of friendship and compassion and the power of optimism.
Difficulty
Before every minigame, instructions are given verbally to the player(s). The game doesn't require any controls besides body movements and motions.
