Rock Band

Rock Band is a rhythm game in which players can choose from a variety of musical instruments and team up to play as a band. The objective is to follow the notes that appear on the screen, timing your own playing so that it is in sync with the music. While there isn't exactly a story to Rock Band, players can create their own characters and have them play in "Band World Tour Mode", building a reputation, earning money and fame, and unlocking new songs. Eventually, by playing in this mode players can earn their characters a record deal.

The game autosaves after each song.

Rock Band isn't too difficult, especially if played on the easiest difficulty setting. However, it could pose quite a challenge to those who lack a sense of rhythm, or young kids.

Players can form a band online while in "Band Quickplay" mode. This could potentially expose players to unregulated content.
