Pokkén Tournament

In Pokkén Tournament, you play as a Pokémon trainer, sending your Pokémon out to battle your opponent's. The goal is to rise through the ranks to become champion, and players will accomplish this by focusing primarily on one Pokémon. As their Pokémon gains experience, they will be able to level up which improves different stats like Attack and Defense. Switching between the two modes, Field Phase and Duel Phase, allows players the chance to experience combat that ranges from turn-based to more melee-centered.

Pokkén Tournament has simple controls and a well-rounded training mode for players who need a bit of extra practice.

The game offers somewhat limited options for competitive online play.
