Pikmin 2

Pikmin 2 follows Captain Olimar from the first game and picks up after he has returned home from the distant planet. Olimar receives an unpleasant surprise when he learns that his ship, the S.S. Dolphin, has been taken to pay off his company, Hocotate Freight's, debt. Shocked, Olimar drops the bottle cap he has brought back as a souvenir for his son. A nearby ship values the dropped bottle cap at 100 pokos, a high amount. Hocotate Freight's president then decides to send Olimar and Louie, a new employee of the company, back to the planet in order to gather what treasure they can to pay off the debt.

Players will be prompted to save the game after completing a day, leaving a cave, or finishing a Challenge or Mission mode level.

The only parts of the game with a significant challenge are the boss battles, but if players are really struggling, they can retreat to respawn their pikmin.
