Story & Themes
Nancy has been contacted to help out at an art museum in Greece. The museum's director alerts her to some potentially nefarious activities among the museum's staff, most of whom are involved in the production of a play. Nancy must get to the bottom of a series of mysteries by saving puzzles around the museum.

On top of being a brain-teasing puzzle game, Nancy Drew: Labyrinth of Lies is also a great intro to ancient Greek mythology and art history.

Difficulty
This game is very difficult, no matter the age of the player. While there are hints that players can uncover (if they play on normal mode), the puzzles are quite complicated and the method of solving them is often out of reach.
Heads Up!
Violence While the game has very minimal violence, it is possible for the player to click on a flaming river, where it is insinuated that Nancy will die. They will be returned to a point just before, however, and there are no graphic elements to this scene. There is also some talk of murder.
Scary Imagery The player can enter an underground stage that is meant to resemble the Greek Hades. Thus it has some somewhat frightening trappings—doors with hands around the edge, flaming lava rivers, and a corpse-like boatman.
Conversation Starters
- Do you think Nancy was right to snoop in her coworkers' things, especially since they asked her not to? Did the circumstances warrant it, or was it simply invasive and rude?
- What place do you think museums have in preserving art history and myth?
