MLB 14: The Show

MLB 14: The Show puts players into the role of either their favorite baseball player or the manager of an entire team as they lead the group to victory. There isn't a storyline in the traditional sense, but players can create their own success story in "Road to the Show" mode by making a unique character and honing their skills en route to the Major Leagues. Players can invest themselves in one team over the course of several seasons or, for a more casual experience, play a standalone exhibition game.

The game autosaves after players complete a game or make any other sort of significant progress.

The game has more controls than players might expect, so new players should be prepared for a bit of a learning curve. Also, MLB 14 assumes that players have some knowledge of the game and how to play strategically.

MLB 14 used to have a functioning online multiplayer mode, but as of June 2015 the support for this mode has been shut down.
