Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime

Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime takes place in a colorful, futuristic setting. Scientist have invented an advanced machine called the Ardor Reactor which runs on the power of love, and the reactor's creation has resulted in the formation of a peaceful and positive society in which everyone coexists in harmony. However, one day the machine is destroyed by an explosion, and a special task force called the League Of Very Empathetic Rescue Spacenauts (or "Lovers") is sent to gather the broken reactor pieces throughout the galaxy. The player character and a companion fly in battleships through the vast reaches of space, collecting pieces and saving stranded animals.

The game can be stressful because of its fast, chaotic pace, but any players overwhelmed by this can opt to play in Casual mode.
