Story & Themes
Kirby is walking through Dream Land when he sees a delicious tomato, and decides to eat it. However, after Kirby swallows the tomato, the evil sorcerer Yin-Yarn appears and sucks Kirby into his magical sock. Kirby is transported to Patch Land, where everything is made out of fabric and yarn--including Kirby himself. Kirby sees a yarn monster attacking a yarn boy, and rushes to help. Unlike normal Kirby games, Kirby cannot suck in his enemies and take on their abilities. Instead, Kirby uses a whip made of yarn to unravel bad guys and turn them into balls of yarn. He can also transform himself into various shapes to make adventuring more complex and exciting.
