Story & Themes
Kirby: Canvas Curse transports Kirby to a paint-based world where he must defeat a witch named Drawcia in order to restore his home of Dream Land. Drawcia has cursed Kirby, turning him into a ball, and the game's mechanics are different from those of other Kirby games as a result. The player has control of a paintbrush (used via the stylus), and must draw paths for Kirby to roll along with the goal of helping him to reach the rainbow door at the end of every level. Players can deal with enemies by tapping on them to stun them or moving Kirby to roll into them. At the end of nearly every world, Kirby must face a boss, and the method of defeating each one depends on the mini-game associated with it.

Throughout the game, players can collect Medals which unlock certain items such as paint colors and characters. The medals aren't always easy to acquire, and may require players to complete certain challenges. There are a total of 250 Medals to be earned.
Save Points
The game autosaves after areas are cleared.
Difficulty
The trickiest part of the game is figuring out how to navigate Kirby through the levels successfully. Otherwise, the stylus method of control is very simple.
Heads Up!
Violence When enemies are defeated, they disappear into a flash of gold stars.
