Kerbal Space Program

In Kerbal Space Program, players operate a spaceport on the fictional planet of Kerbin. The program's employees are Kerbals, green aliens with silly faces who act as the crewmen, pilots, and engineers. The game has many different goals, but all of them include heading off into space and exploring its various moons and planets. Players also have the chance to build space stations, rovers, and, of course, their own custom rockets.


In Sandbox Mode, players can mess around with the game's many features however they like without any guidance. Career Mode narrows the focus and gives players specific goals and responsibilities that are meant to reflect those of an actual space program. Finally, Science Mode is all about expanding the field of knowledge for Kerbalkind and focuses on experimentation and data-gathering.

Kerbal Space Program uses realistic, space-based physics and flight simulations that aren't necessarily accessible for a general audience. However, players can find tutorials online that explain the basics.
