Story & Themes
Jurassic World Evolution 2 is a sim management game, and the sequel to Jurassic World Evolution. Players build and maintain dinosaur parks and reservations, but are no longer constrained to tropical islands.
Jurassic World Evolution 2 is set after Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, where dinosaurs have officially left the islands and integrated with the rest of the world. Instead of using fossils to research new dinosaurs, players will primarily rescue and relocate wild dinosaurs into their parks and enclosures.
Dinosaurs use advanced AI to adapt to their enclosures, and players can learn more dinosaur details, as well as how to run and operate a zoo or park.
A short campaign mode helps teach the game, while a new Chaos Theory mode lets players revisit key scenes and What-If scenarios from the movies.
Save Points
The game autosaves periodically, and players can save any time.
Difficulty
Challenge mode offers scenarios with extra challenges, such as money penalties or more extreme weather, designed for veteran players.
Heads Up!
Violence Predators can fight and eat each other if placed into the same enclosure, and dinosaurs can be bloodied as a result. Dinosaurs can also escape from their enclosures and attack and eat guests, though without any gore.
Scary Imagery A large dinosaur eating a guest could be a bit scary.
Sex & Nudity None.
Strong Language None.
Substance Use None.
Consumerism Several DLC dinosaur packs and expansions are available for purchase, adding more dinosaurs, skins, and story missions, primarly based around Jurassic World: Dominion.
