Ingress

Ingress takes place in a reality where the discovery of the Higgs Boson in 2012 also led scientists to uncover the existence of Exotic Matter. This otherworldly substance threatens to alter the evolutionary progress of humans by changing our collective genetic code. As a result, two rival factions have emerged with different agendas in regards to Exotic Matter. The Enlightened welcome the ingression of Exotic Matter in this new stage of humanity while the Resistance is committed to protecting and preserving humanity from this process. Both groups are caught in a struggle for dominance with the fate of humankind at stake.

The game is easy to play but offers little assistance. Players will therefore need to figure out exactly how the game works through experimentation and exploration.

Ingress requires a constant connection to the game's servers to function. While connected, players can chat with others online, though this feature is optional.
