In Hammerwatch, players choose from a variety of different character classes including wizard, thief, and paladin. Once they've made their choice, players guide their character through the many rooms and levels of Castle Hammerwatch, killing enemies and uncovering secrets along the way.

Difficulty

Hammerwatch grows gradually more difficult as players progress, but the game includes options for customizing the gameplay difficulty.

Violence The game focuses heavily on combat, but it's cartoonish and viewed from a fairly distant perspective. Enemies disappear with a flash of light when defeated.
