Grim Fandango Remastered

Grim Fandango takes place in the Land of the Dead, the holding area where the recently departed must find their way to the Ninth Underworld from. Those who have done good deeds in their life can claim access to better travel packages--the best of us can take a four-minute train ride, while the worst have to travel on foot on a four-year journey.

Manny Calavera is a travel agent who is tired of getting the 4-year travelers, so he decides to steal a 4-minute traveler from one of his co-workers. When the lady--Meche--is also given a 4-year sentence, Manny realizes there must be something shady going on, and confirms that his agency is manipulating the books against him. He decides to look for Meche, who has departed on her journey, and waits for her to arrive at the next checkpoint.

Meanwhile, Manny is busy uncovering a dastardly underworld plot to withhold travelers' tickets. The shady organization that is doing so has it out for him, and Manny must rescue Meche and the other travelers while trying to stop the bad guys.
