Gauntlet: Slayer Edition

Gauntlet: Slayer Edition allows players to take on the role of either a Wizard, Warrior, Valkyrie, or Elf in a fantasy setting, and their friends can step into the shoes of the other characters if they so wish. While Gauntlet can be played alone, it is at its most fun when others join in. Regardless of whether they're flying solo or teaming up with friends, players will explore a dark dungeon full of various creatures and monsters, solving puzzles and uncovering hidden areas. Ultimately, there's an evil that needs defeating, but most of the game is centered around this simple, dungeon-crawler gameplay.

The game includes multiple difficulty settings. While some of the mechanics may occasionally prove challenging, overall the gameplay is repetitive enough for players to get a good grasp of it.

The game's cooperative multiplayer mode can be played online, though it can also be accessed locally.
