Fabledom

Fabledom is a whimsical city builder set in a fantasy world of fairy tales, from Jack and the Beanstalk to the Three Little Pigs (think Shrek, but without the biting commentary, and much less humor).

Players start with a small plot of land in a randomly generated kingdom, building homesteads for their Fablings to live, and lumber yards, farms, and quarries to work and gather materials.

The kingdom grows as more people arrive, milestones are met, and more advanced buildings and infrastructure unlock, such as mills and bakeries, sawmills, marketplaces, and condominiums.

Logistics and economy is a large part of the game. Players need to balance their production needs while expanding their kingdom, unlocking more territory, and dealing with various events, such as dragons demanding tribute, or a lost glass slipper.

Players can also train soldiers, and a hero unit, and send them on missions in other territories. The ultimate goal is to build a large kingdom and establish positive relationships with neighbors, including dating and marrying a Prince or Princess, to receive special kingdom-wide benefits.

The game autosaves frequently, and can be saved at any time.

Fabledom has four difficulty levels: Calm, Classic, Challenge, and Cruel, which affect happiness, winter length, and other factors. Additionally, players can choose Creative instead of Standard mode, which unlocks all buildings and eliminates money and construction time.
