Counter-Strike

In Counter-Strike, players are separated into two different groups, the terrorists and counter-terrorists, and then pitted against one another. The game includes multiple objectives for the two teams to achieve, such as a bomb defusal mission in which the terrorists guard the bomb while the counter-terrorists attempt to break past their defenses and disarm it. Players can hedge their chances by purchasing equipment before each round begins.

In different versions of Counter-Strike, the difficulty level of bots (or NPCs) can be altered.

Counter-Strike is a multiplayer game that can only be played online.
