Call of Duty 2

Like its predecessor, Call of Duty 2 features three different campaigns in single-player mode. The Soviet campaign focuses on the defense of Stalingrad by Private Vasili Koslov from September 1942 to January of 1943.


The British campaign begins in North Africa and follows Sergeant John Davis and his division as they work to hinder the German forces in the region. Players take part in both the Second Battle of El Alamein and finally the Battle for Caen in what is eventually an Allied victory.


The American campaign stars Corporal Bill Taylor who is participating in D-Day, mainly with the job of combating the German counter-offensive. This campaign focuses more on the use of a sniper rifle as Taylor picks off German mortar crews before they can do too much damage to the Allied forces.
