Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons

Naiee and Naia are a pair of brothers—one older one younger—tasked with finding the Tree of Life in order to save their ailing father, the only remaining member of their family. They travel through mountains and villages on this mission, meanwhile both befriending and running away from giants and trolls and other beings.

The atmosphere of Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is nostalgic and a little bit sad, while still quite beautiful. It deals with loss and family through the interactions of Naiee and Naia—one hand controls the younger, the other hand the older. The two (hands and brothers) must work together to overcome obstacles and solve puzzles.

The game autosaves often.

While usually fairly simple to find out what is needed to overcome obstacles, mechanically it is often difficult, especially on PC. Occasionally intense concentration is needed to get the two hands to "work together" so-to-speak. That said, autosaves are abundant, and players will not have to backtrack far at all upon dying.
