Beyond Eyes

Beyond Eyes stars Rae, a ten-year-old blind girl who has never experienced the outside world beyond her garden. When Rae's best friend, a cat called Nani, goes missing, Rae summons all her courage to leave the garden in search of her. The game's central theme is friendship, and it succeeds in telling a sweet story about the lengths people will go to for the friends they love.


The gameplay focuses on exploration as Rae utilizes her senses of sound and touch to navigate the world around her. The game attempts to semi-accurately represent the experience of blindness and challenges players to think differently and consider how life is like for people without sight.

Children and adults alike should have no problem playing Beyond Eyes. The controls mostly involve just moving Rae through different environments, and there aren't any puzzles to speak of.
