Sony has recently been giving gamers the chance to pick what free game PlayStation Plus users will receive. This month’s pick is Broforce.

The Vote to Play event was first used to pick the free game for September last year. The way it works is Sony chooses three games to present as options for the free game. PS Plus users then boot up their PlayStation 4s and access the PS Plus section to vote. For March not only will the winner be free, the other two contenders will be on sale at a 30% discount.

Broforce is a 2D side-scrolling brawler with very retro art. The game isn’t trying to take itself seriously. It’s designed as a fun and funny beat ’em up. It supports up to four players in both local and online multiplayer. The developers describe their game like this on their official site:

“When evil threatens the world, the world calls on Broforce – an under-funded, over-powered paramilitary organization dealing exclusively in excessive force. Brace your loins with up to four players to run ‘n’ gun as dozens of different bros and eliminate the opposing terrorist forces that threaten our way of life. Unleash scores of unique weapons and set off incredible chain reactions of fire, napalm, and limbs in the name of freedom.”
