Story & Themes
In Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer, players work for the home designing company Nook Homes after moving to the town. As an employee of Tom Nook, the playable protagonist is given assignments to design the townspeople's houses based on their suggestions and desired style. Players start out redecorating simple houses and then, once they have gained some experience, are able to move onto more complicated buildings. For instance, they might be tasked with customizing the interior of a classroom, or designing a hotel with multiple rooms and areas. Happy Home Designer broadens the clientele base for players who have amiibo cards, and some of the amiibo characters will bring with them new furniture or other items for decoration.
Difficulty
Happy Home Designer is pretty easy to learn and control, and in fact some of the designing contracts have been criticized for being too easy.
