Chain Chronicle

Chain Chronicle begins with the separation of the formerly-united six kingdoms after the king is killed in battle. The enemy forces, called the Black Army, continue to wreck havoc after the king falls. The unnamed male protagonist is living during this tumultuous time and, with the help of others, takes to fighting Black Troops. Early on in the game, the protagonist encounters a woman who tells him that he is special and has a role to play. However, this same woman later suffers from amnesia and loses all information about the prophecy that involves the protagonist. She joins up with the protagonist anyway, helping with his journey to keep the kingdoms safe and while learning more about his destiny.

Battles are fairly uniform and easy to get the hang of, though some strategy is involved in winning them.

Players can choose to befriend others online and share characters, but there isn't a chat feature or any other way to exchange information.
