Bejeweled 3

Bejeweled 3, like its predecessors, is solely based on puzzle gameplay. The basic premise is to match three or more gems of the same type in a horizontal or vertical chain by swapping one gem for another. The goal is to score as many points as possible by making high-point matches and snagging chain reactions which occur when new gems falling from the top of the screen and onto the board match up.

The game has three major modes besides Classic: Zen, Lightning, and Quest. In Zen Mode, the game never ends and relaxing music plays in the background to produce a calming atmosphere. Lightning Mode increases the intensity of Bejeweled 3, giving players one minute to score as many points as possible. And lastly, in Quest Mode each puzzle has an objective and minigames are added into the mix to create a more rounded experience.

Bejeweled 3 also has four different secret modes that are unlockable. These include Butterflies Mode, Diamond Mine Mode, Ice Storm Mode, and Poker Mode.

Bejeweled 3 is very easy to play, and the simple structure of the puzzle allows younger kids to pick it up. Its various modes allow for a decent range in the challenge level.
