Dance Central 2

The gameplay of Dance Central 2 is very similar to that of its predecessor. Though Dance Central 2 does technically have a main storyline when playing in story mode (players save the day from an evil mastermind through the power of dance), the main focus of the game is allowing players to simulate dance routines. Dance Central 2 uses the Kinect motion sensor to track the movements of players as they follow along to the moves demonstrated by the onscreen dancers. High scores are earned by performing moves accurately and on time.

The greatest difference between Dance Central 2 and the first game is that the latter has a cooperative multiplayer mode in addition to a competitive one. Other modes include the practice-oriented "Break it Down" mode and the "Fitness" mode.

Dance Central 2 does have a tutorial and its "Break it Down" mode is meant to offer plays some extra practice. However, the game does require players to have some sense of timing and a bit of physical coordination.
