Far Cry 4 is an open-world first-person shooter set in the fictional country of Kyrat. Players can use vehicles, guns, and even animals to obtain their objectives.

Story & Themes
Ajay Ghale returns to his native country of Kyrat to spread his mother's ashes and fulfill her dying wish, but in the process is caught up in a conflict between the malicious dictator Pagan Min and the rebel group the Golden Path. It is up to Ajay to help lead the revolution and stop Pagan Min.
Over the course of the story, Ajay (and the player) must make tough decisions about the direction the Golden Path will take. He must choose between the ideals of Sabal, a man who prefers traditional methods but who is out of touch with modern world views, or Amita, a woman who wants progress, but would use heavy drug trafficking in order to achieve her goals.
Save Points
The game autosaves regularly, and the player can save any time they want outside of a mission.
Difficulty
The game has multiple difficulty settings, but like any first person shooter it requires a certain amount of coordination to play. Kyrat can be a treacherous place, and many animals and people will try to kill you, but they are easily handled on lower difficulties.
Heads Up!
Violence There is realistic gunplay, stabbing, heavy blood-splatter effects, and scenes depicting torture by electrocution and stabbing. The player can ride an elephant and maul enemies; similarly, wild animals will attack and kill the player and enemies alike.
Scary Imagery Large animals attack you, and there are scenes of torture.
Sex & Nudity There are many sexual references and one scene where a man's testicles are exposed briefly.
Strong Language There are many examples of swearing in the game; f*ck, sh*t and a**hole are all said relatively frequently.
Substance Use Characters, including the player character, are depicted smoking Marijuana.
Online Community
You can play co-op with a friend or with a stranger online, but you have to "open" your game to online play first, so you can choose who you do or don't want to play with. The people who play online vary widely.
Conversation Starters
Genocide and dictatorship are themes throughout the game, juxtaposed by natural beauty and the inherent danger of the wild.
