Story & Themes
Told through charming rhyme, New ‘n’ Tasty begins with a gorgeously depressing view of Rupture Farms, a city-sized meat processing factory. We are introduced to our protagonist, Abe, a slave who reveals that he is in trouble for crossing the meanest boss in Oddworld.
br>
Abe is a Mudoken, a peaceful and spiritual species who have been enslaved by the evil Glukkons to work in their factories. The Glukkons are an industrial species who have an innate distrust of magic and spirituality, and enlist the help of the bio-mechanical Sligs and their pet Slogs to help keep security.

One day Abe is doing his job when he overhears the Glukkon boss, Mullok, talking to his fellows about a new product called New ‘n’ Tasty. Their other products, different kinds of meat pies, are suffering. Just when all hope seems lost for their business, Mullok reveals that New ‘n’ Tasty is a sure way to bring business up cheaply. How? He intends to use the Mudokens, Abe’s species, as the main ingredient.

Shocked, Abe makes a run for it, but not before being seen. The hunt for Abe is on, and it is up to him to escape Rupture Farms and find enough power to save his Mudoken friends before they become meat pies themselves.
Save Points
There are checkpoints every so often, or players can use the Quicksave feature to save at any point and return later.
Difficulty
This game requires a bit of finesse to complete all the way, and you will find that there is much trial and error in solving the puzzles; you will probably die a lot.
Heads Up!
Violence Abe can possess bad guys and make them shoot each other or explode. Mines and meat grinders will cause characters to explode in a bloody mess.
Scary Imagery Some of Oddworld's denizens are bizarre, but not particularly scary.
Strong Language The ESRB states that the game contains some language; some of the characters fart, and you can make Abe fart as well.
