Madden NFL 25 is probably the most realistic football simulator to date. The main attraction is being able to act as the owner, player, or manager of a team.

In Connected Franchise mode players can take charge of a real-life football team and put together the player roster of their dreams and take them through the NFL season. Lots of the tiny details are left up to the player—what uniforms the team wears, for example. The options are incredibly varied. As
GameSpot points out in a review, “as an owner, it’s entertaining to make low level choices on food concessions as well as more fantastical decisions like moving an established team to a new city.”

The player uses all the buttons on the controller to control individual players during the games. The game also keeps players updated on real-life football wins in an attempt to enhance the roleplaying realism.

Save Points
The game autosaves when you exit the franchise mode, as well as mid-game (game in this case referring to in-game football games). This means, yes, you can stop in the middle of a tense game.
