Injustice: Gods Among Us is a fighting game set in the DC universe. Players take control of various superheroes or supervillains to duke it out.

Story & Themes

In an alternate timeline, the Joker has tricked Superman into setting off a nuke in Metropolis, killing his wife Lois Lane and his son in the process. In a fit of rage he kills the Joker, losing his sense of morality in the process.

In the regular timeline, Lex Luthor has given the Joker a nuke, and the Joker is about to blow up Metropolis. The heroes stop him just in time, but in the process a few of them are transported to the alternate timeline.

In the alternate timeline the death of Lois Lane, along with his murder of the Joker, have driven Superman insane. He is now the dictator of the world, and the good guys from the regular timeline must stop him at all costs.

Difficulty

Difficulty depends on a variety of factors, including player skill level and what difficulty you play on. It can be tweaked for all levels of players.

Heads Up!

Violence The game is a fighting game. Not nearly as violent as Mortal Kombat, but characters still beat each other up by punching, kicking, shooting, hitting each other through buildings, etc.

Scary Imagery The story can get somewhat dark at times, but nothing is intentionally scary.

Sex & Nudity Some of the female superheroes are scantily clad.

Strong Language Some mild swearing, including d*mn, h*ll and even a few sh*ts.

Substance Use There is one character who smokes a cigar.

As usual, online play is unregulated and you could hear anything.
