Humble Games and Italian developer Memorable Games have released On Your Tail on Nintendo Switch ($29.99). The detective sim is also available on Steam PC, and currently 20% off through March 20.
On Your Tail stars Diana, a detective and writer on vacation in the seaside town of Borgo Marina. Diana can speak with locals and engage in relaxing minigames, including swimming, fishing, and cooking.
But a good detective can leave a mystery unsolved, and Borgo Marina is full of secrets, starting with a mysterious thief. Diana can examine crime scenes and use her magical Chronolens to look into the past and discover clues. She can also talk with locals to receive quests, discover insights, and learn more about their backstories.
Solving a crime involves reconstructing the scene using paper-like dioramas, with a card game as the clues.
In addition to the standard edition, players can also purchase the Deluxe Edition on Switch. The Deluxe Edition includes a digital art book with over 200 pages, as well as a 23-track soundtrack.
On Your Tail is available on PC and Switch, and rated E for Everyone with Mild Fantasy Violence, Mild Language, and Alcohol and Tobacco References.
