During the Dames4Games Showcase, indie developer Three Bees announced a sequel to 2022 adventure game, Perfect Tides. The new trailer reveals a 2025 release for Perfect Tides: Station to Station.
Set three years after the 2000 setting of Perfect Tides, the now 18-year old Mara has left her small island town to attend college in the city in pursuit of her writing career.
The story-driven, point-and-click adventure game is inspired by classic 90s adventure games. The sequel features four seasonal acts and over 60 interactive locations. Players can develop or ignore platonic and romantic relationships while attending school, solving puzzles, and working on Mara’s writing goals.
Three Bees was founded by webcomic creator Meredith Gran. Gran created the popular webcomic Octopus Pie, which ran from 2007-2017.
“Perfect Tides: Station to Station brings out the angsty young adult in us all,” explains Gran. “There will be times where players will feel lost, excited, self-conscious, euphoric, and so much more through Mara’s experiences.”
Dames4Games is a female-led organization that supports and showcases women in the gaming industry.
Perfect Tides: Station to Station will release on PC and Mac on Steam in 2025.
