WB Games, TT Games, Lego, and Marvel have announced that Lego Marvel Super Heroes is coming to Nintendo Switch on October 5th.

In what many fans and critics proclaim as the best of the licensed Lego video games, Lego Marvel Super Heroes features a cast of nearly 200 Marvel heroes and villains with up to two player split-screen co-op. It was one of the first games to start adopting the Marvel Cinematic Universe likeness and mannerisms of those characters, especially Captain America, Iron Man, and Black Widow.

However, unlike future Marvel games which tend to focus solely on MCU characters (like the sequel), LMSH also includes tons of X-Men characters, as well as the Fantastic Four, in a plot that includes Galactus and the Silver Surfer.

The Switch version includes both previously released DLC packs. The Super Pack includes Dark Phoenix, Winter Soldier, Hawkeye, and Falcon, while the Asgard Pack adds Jane Foster, Sif, Odin, and the Warriors Three.

Lego Marvel Super Heroes originally launched in 2013 on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, and Wii U. A less good but still pretty great sequel, Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2, released in 2017, and is available on PC, PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One.
