The realistic racing series Forza Horizon has become the flagship series to show off new consoles and new hardware technology. You can bet that the newly announced Forza Horizon 5 looks mighty nice on an Xbox Series X, and it’s launching November 9 on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Android mobile devices via Xbox Cloud Gaming.

Forza Horizon 5 is set in Mexico, featuring deserts, jungles, cities, beaches, canyons, and an active volcano, for a total of 11 biomes. Seasons return from Forza Horizon 4, amped up to include dust storms and tropical storms, dynamically changing each region.

Meet new people and make choices in the campaign missions that take you all around Mexico, or join with other players with Horizon Tour and drive to the Horizon Arcade and compete in different challenges.

Customize your car with over 100 new visual upgrades, including rims, wheels, body kits, and paint options, along with thousands of performance upgrades, and reward friendly players online by gifting them Kudos.

Under the hood, Forza 5 features HDR lighting, and up to 4K resolution with 30 frames per second, or 60 frames per second in Performance mode.

Forza Horizon 5 will release on November 9 with Standard, Deluxe, and Premium versions. The standard version is coming to Xbox Game Pass (with an option to purchase the Premium add-ons). The Premium version includes early access beginning on November 5.
