Behold Studios has announced that they have a new game in the works called Galaxy of Pen & Paper. The Brazilian developers are known for their previous retro-style RPGs like Chroma Squad and Knights of Pen & Paper. Their newest RPG takes inspiration from classic tabletop games in the style of Dungeons and Dragons.
Combat is turn-based and depends partially on the luck of dice rolls as players battle their way through creatures and monsters. Fans can look forward to spaceship battles and planet navigation along the way to epic loot and treasures. Like any good tabletop RPG, Galaxy of Pen & Paper also allows players to choose from among an array of different races and classes as they assemble their party. They’ll also be able to make important decisions that will affect the course of the story.
The release date is set for 2017 on PC, Mac, and Linux.
