Farming Simulator is kicking off the new year with a couple of big announcements. Fans who watched Nintendo’s Switch event on Friday will have seen the news that Farming Simulator will be available for the Switch shortly after launch. GIANTS Software and Focus Home Interactive are teaming up with Nintendo to bring the game to this new console. More information on Farming Simulator for Switch will be coming soon, so stay tuned!
GIANTS Software has also unveiled the upcoming Farming Simulator 18 for PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS. Like past versions of the game, Farming Simulator 18 is an open-world experience for players who’d like to try their hand at virtual farming. In the game, players can grow and harvest crops and raise livestock like cows, sheep, and pigs. They can also play around with a variety of vehicles and machinery. Major brands such as Challenger and Valtra are returning to help round out the player’s vehicle fleet. By selling their products and turning a profit, players will be able to gradually expand their farm as they set out to become successful farmers.
Farming Simulator 18 doesn’t have an exact release date yet, but fans can look forward to the handheld experience sometime in 2017. To stay up to date with the latest information, fans can follow the official Farming Simulator account on Twitter @farmingsim.
