There have been rumors that the DC Comics heroine Supergirl would be coming to LEGO Dimensions. Turns out they were true…sort of. Starting in September, the starter pack for the PlayStation 4 version of the game will include a Supergirl mini figure (or mini fig) for a “limited time.”
Here are some of the powers Supergirl has in the game, according to an official release.
- Super Strength
- Flying
- X-Ray Vision
- Beam Attacks, which enable her to shoot heat beams out of her eyes.
- Transform into Supergirl Girl Red Lantern with additional abilities, such as firing powerful Red Lantern energy bolts the Red Lantern Ring and forming Red Lantern Energy Constructs.
Unfortunately, nothing in the official release suggested players would be able to buy the mini fig separately, so if you’ve already bought the Starter Pack, it looks like you may be out of luck. The mini fig is also a PlayStation 4 exclusive, so if you own the game on another console, you will also be out of luck.
Next year Supergirl will be accessible via the in-game “Hire a Hero” feature. This feature gives players the chance to check out her gameplay. That’s an in-game only feature, which means there won’t be a mini fig to go along with that.
