Last gen side-scrolling platformer Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams is getting a fancy new version exclusively for Switch. Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams Owltimate Edition includes the previously released DLC, Rise of the Owlverlord, as well as additional new content.

In addition to the DLC, the Owltimate Edition includes five new levels, as well as new story cutscenes between each level. It also includes new music tracks from composer Chris Huelsbeck and Swedish band Machinae Supremacy.

Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams plays like a classic 2D platformer within a 3D world. Giana can transform between two different personas: punk and sweet. Her sweet side lets her glide gracefully over obstacles and enemies, while the punk side dashes and smashes through blocks and bounces off walls.

The world includes over 40 levels for Giana to run, bash, leap, and smash through, as well as large-scale boss battles.

Giana Sisters originally launched way back in 2012 for PC, and 2013 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii U, and was funded via Kickstarter by Black Forest Games. An updated “Directowl’s Cut” was released for Wii U and PlayStation 4 in 2015 and 2016 which included the DLC.

The Owltimate Edition is being published by HandyGames, who revealed the game as part of their Switch lineup at Gamescom. No release date has yet been announced. Giana Sisters has been rated E for Everyone.
